usually he doesn't stick around actual civilizations. He stays around well-populated wilderness. He's always hungry, but the plague in him is so prominent that if he eats just a little over his limit he loses ALL of it. That's a biiig bad, bc he has no self control and eats almost any meat he's offered.

Usually at night, the thing that gives him away is the rattling of his mask beads, or depending on the surface, the dripping of his often open wounds. with no steady food storage, his wounds take AGES to heal, so he's almost always bleeding.

He doesn't sleep normal, either. He doesn't actually go to sleep, he falls
unconscious until his body rests. On a few occasions, when someone offered him meals, he passed tf out mid steak, The ppl were nice enough to put a blanket on him, but he'd always wake up to absolutely shredded fabric and cloth in his claws.

he speaks dragon, but he's been without it so long that he responds to dog whistling, cat calling (like the clicks and such), and depending on his mental state, he's looked at someone saying "c'mere boy!"
He growls, hisses, snarls, grunts, etc, but rarely talks.
