Biography

"The Golden Light of Dragluon"

Found in an ancient digging site in the jungles of Brazil, a golden egg rested for nearly 3 thousand years, until a group of archaeologists stumbled upon it. And as the crew took it out of the temple deep undergrouns and finally placed it in the sun, the item they thought was a statue actually hatched... And from it's golden shell came a small yet strange being.

A dragon, the humans soon discovered.

The hatchling cried and screeched as the archaeologists tried to figure out what to do... They didn't want to leave it to be dissected by the government, or locked away. So they decided to raise it as their own.

And they decided to name it "Luz Dourada de Dragluon" because of the stone engravings of the ancient cave, who called the egg "The Golden Light of Dragluon", ehatever that may mean.

...

Luz knows they aren't a human. Even thought they can transform into a human, they know they're not. Yet, they are just so happy to be a part of human society, happy to have their parents and their friends. School isn't all roses, thought, and they are bullied a lot, yet that does nothing to take away their optimism!

Life was good for them, until another being just like them came to Earth... The dragon's name was Jalai, and she brought news of a fate Luz did not know of. Of a war, of genocide and political conflicts that only Luz could solve. News of a prophecy, a duty to her kind, that she knew nothing of until now.

But Jalai was surprised to see that the fabled being, The Last Golden Dragon, the chosen one, was just a youngling... Not even old enough to learn how to fly. Feeling guilty, Jalai decided to go back on her word, and tell the young Luz that she was lying.

That they should enjoy their childhood, and not worry about any wars. She felt guilty. Guilty for trying to involve an innocent child in their fight, even if she did not know that it was a child when she left her planet.

It would be better if they enjoyed the safety of her home for at least a few decades, until they were old enough to fight. She knew her family's mercenaries wouldn't find Luz, not even the Gods knew where Dragluon had hidden The Last of the Golden Ones. The rumours that there even was a Gold Dragon left were still hard to come across, as it was slowly spreading, still; only a few politics and higher ups of The Court knew of the possibility one was still alive, and no one knew it's age or whereabouts.

Jalai's father was informed many times by the Sages that it could take centuries to pinpoint their exact location in the vastness of the Galaxy. Jalai was the only one who knew of Luz's location, as she was guided there by Dragluon, The Wanderer, itself.

All in all, the best and safer choice for Luz was to wait and hide safely on Earth, with Jalai as a guardian and tutor on the ways of how to be a dragon.

But even if Luz knew it was risky, even if they knew it was a dumb choice... They still chose to fight.

Fight, because they could see the pain in Jalai's eyes. And they vowed they would not let her mentor, her friend, bear such pain.

"I am Luz Dourada de Dragluon, The Chosen One, The Last Golden Dragon. And I choose to fight, to fight so you all can smile again!"
