The patriarch of the Seckendorff clan. Delilah's mate, second in command, and occasional voice of reason, Kobalt is fun, compassionate, and dedicated to helping and protecting his clan, no matter what.

"Come on, what's eating you?"

Kobalt's chosen familiar is Penzance, a fenfisher flattail. He helps tend to the living portions of the Seckendorff clan's hoard.
Born into a water element clan living on the edge of the Ashfall Waste, Kobalt was unlucky enough to hatch close enough to the fire lands to have an inborn fire element. By their laws, he was cast out the day he reached adulthood, to wander the wastes. Years later, he met Delilah when she returned, and the two of them bonded quickly. Even now, he may be the only one she truly trusts - there are rumours that he knows what happened to her original clan. But, either way, the two of them are now the guides and watchful protectors of their new family.

(My randomly generated second starter. The moment I saw this guy, I thought "dad energy" - I mean, come on, his main is Denim. Fun fact: Kobalt is the original spelling of "cobalt", and comes from the German "kobold", meaning "goblin".)
