Ophania is one of the scouts for the commune, and part of the ancient order of Seekers. Out of all of the Gaolers that she considers clanmates, Ophania is one of the only ones who takes her duty to the order seriously. While out scouting she'll often go out of her way to exterminate a shade-touched critter.

While she cares about the order, she also cares deeply for the commune and neither comes first in her eyes. She's very no-nonsense, a common characteristic of her breed. She loves to just do her job and focus on whatever task is at hand. She's not the friendliest dragon, or the easiest to get along with. She's stubborn, strict in her beliefs, and gruff in her manner of speaking. She doesn't believe in formalities like being polite or making small talk. Despite this, she's not mean or needlessly cruel, she just isn't exactly personable.

She's a newer addition to the clan, and still young, but definitely already set in her ways. The only dragon she really has a soft spot for is Asteraoth. Despite their opposite personalities, she finds him incredibly endearing. He provides the balance in her serious life that she desperately needs. If you ever do catch her smiling or laughing, it's guaranteed that Asteraoth isn't far behind her. They've been mates ever since they first met, here, in the commune. She's a bit older than him and insists that once he's older his temperament will settle too, though he disagrees of course.

When she isn't out scouting the perimeter of the commune or eradicating traces of the shade, you can find her training for combat with Bertrada (who she's somewhat tense friends with- they disagree on many topics), lounging with her mate when they are both between duties, working out, or sometimes pestering Phyress for an extra meal or unclaimed leftovers. While she may seem harsh overall, she's a good person and does her best to provide whatever she can for her clanmates, who she very much considers her family.
