Mother's bio: Atarashi comes from a long lineage of royalty from the Light and Wind clans. Her mother, being nowhere near the throne in a long list of royal progeny, chose to leave home and pursue life where the breeze carried her to new adventures and a freedom she had never known before.

Tara's father was also from a large family, one of many Skydancer siblings born to Sinai and Kharan, a wind priestess and sky alchemist, respectively. His father's expertise and many ramblings about the relationship between air and light led Raeseth to be fascinated by the concept. When a beautiful free-spirited Coatl from the Sunbeam Ruins came to the plateau looking for something more than royal obscurity, how could he resist her?

Following in their parents' footsteps, the pair's whirlwind romance created a large family of their own. Most of Tara's siblings flitted around peacefully, content to float peacefully in the windmaker's breezes of their homeland. Her brother Nanashi made a name for himself as a traveling sword-for-hire with his faithful Hainu companion, while her sister Riza became a barkeep in an elegant ballroom far away in the arcane Starfall Isles.

But Atarashi wasn't sure where her life path would lead. Bored of exploring the plateau, she set off across the sea to investigate her mother's homeland and hopefully find a home of her own. A curious little flock of bickering Skydancers drew her attention. They seemed so utterly involved with their small little world and traditions, Tara found it completely fascinating. She settled in to watch them and learn more about their squabbles, thinking maybe she should get some popcorn.
