Do you know how a star looks like?

Mafed is an Egyptian god of the death. Since his name is linked to the ancient egyptian word pa-miau, he sometimes is called "the tomcat". Mafed lives in an area which is called upper sky or Keku-semau. This region is splitting in different darkness zones where neither stars nor orbs are existing. His task is to open up the Keku-semau in the Duat for the dead.

Since Mafed is living in the darkness he seems to be the only bright star for the dead to follow - this is what the souls tell him sometimes. Mafed never had seen a star before, but he really would love to do so, which is why he always asks the souls, who are passing by. Since he is working in a transition area, it is really hard for Mafed to find friends. The only god, he is sometimes visited by, is Bastet. She is the only person cheering him up in the darkness, playing hide and seek... and even though he is always loosing against her, he really enjoyes the time with her. With the help of Bastet's cheering character, he is able to fulfill his tasks without getting too devoured by the darkness.
