Datura is probably one of the only Dragons in Sunstoke that is sober and alert for more than a day at a time; as most of the "trippy plants/substances" leave him with bad after-effects. He has taken it upon himself to act as a 'trip sitter' during most of Nightshade's ceremonies and will use his talent as a gifted musician to help ease the paranoia and scary feelings of a bad trip with soothing music. A lot of the residents of Sunstoke view him as a father/brother and aside from Nightshade, is one of the most valuable and respected members of this society.

To thank him for all he does, some of the residents will bring him goods baked from bananas or plantains (his favorite foods). Not much is known about his past, though an interesting thing to note is that Nightshade often claims that Datura is a magnet for dark energy while his mate Lucy is a magnet for positive energy.

He is also a selective mute as a result of what some speculate was a bad trip and doesn't talk about his home lair in the Shoredeep Presage or his parents and his two Tundra brothers. He seldom uses his water-based magic (except to carefully water plants) and many have begun to speculate that Datura is secretly a very powerful water mage; of course, he hasn't bothered to confirm nor deny these rumors... Dagga is the only individual (outside of his mate Lucy) to hear him speak.
