Her real name is Love in the Mist.
Her clan calls her Nim.

Born into a lightning clan in the midst of a famine, Nim was brought to the clan by Kana as barely more than a hatching.
Perhaps as a result of the famine present in her birth clan, Nim's vocal chords never properly developed. Although she's capable of making the squeals, cries, and calls of any typical sky dancer, they are often somewhat metallic, sounding ever so slightly off to other dancers, as well as to dragons with a well trained ear.
The precise sounds of speech are another thing altogether. It is difficult, sometimes even painful for her on bad days, and her speaking voice is quiet, and difficult to hear. Her mate Telemachus and best friend Melon sometimes act as her voice when necessary.

Nim is sweet, kind, empathetic, and gentle. She used to suffer from a near crippling shyness, but that has eased with time, largely in part to the support of Telemachus.
In spite of her gentle nature, Nim has a fiery spark in her, ignited when her dearest loved ones or helpless creatures are in danger. Although she had very little combat training at the time, she once nearly died trying to defend hatchlings of the lair from a rogue guardian that near dwarfed her in size.
