"I am a mermaid." The hatchling's voice was sure, steady, and filled with complete and utter conviction. Nothing that was ever said to her to the contrary could shake her from the truth in her soul.

Right from the cracking of her shell, Dianda was never happier than when playing in the water. In her heart, Dianda knew she'd been accidentally born with wings instead of fins. As she's grown, she's only become more and more sure. Decking herself out with fins of her own, she spends most of her time splashing around the shore and diving in the shallows.

Though she looks small, sweet, and delicate, this little dragon hides a hot temper and can become quite physical when she or someone she loves is threatened. When she's sweet, she's very very sweet... but when she's upset? Better run.

Because of her fearlessness and her small size, Dianda can sometimes get into a lot of trouble. Luckily, since Shui has adopted the little mermaid as his charge, incidents have been fewer and far between. But you still need to watch out because even the big obelisk can't stop the mermaid from letting loose if she feels it's time.
