Rustan was my Tiefling Ardent for a 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons campaign that ran for three years. He was a Chaotic Neutral pirate captain who had escaped an Illithid city after peering into the Far Realm and going mad, breaking their hold on his mind. Throughout the campaign he devolved into Chaotic Evil, which was extremely fun to play, and the other party members were all excellent sports about. He ended up ascending to Godhood and becoming the god of revenge.
