Bryophyta was born in the Shattered Plains lair, raised among a variety of dragons. She is the Guardian of a market stall, and she travels with a nomadic group of Longneck merchants. Her wares are mainly creations made by the members of her clan, as well as a variety of trinkets discovered in her travels. Bryophyta is rugged, her scales rough from sandy winds, and one of her horns is broken in half. She fidgets sporadically, and has no sense of volume control.

Bryo has always been one of the first dragons of Gem's Rest to greet the Longneck traders when they made their trip through the Plains. He grew as the relations with them grew, and when he came of age the question of what his charge would be was an easy one--the Longneck Beastclan. He left Gem's Rest with them, taking many of the wares his Clan produced with him to sell, to see the world and to protect the Longnecks he considers a second family.
