Art/Character Notes!

His "accident" occurred before he joined the Ludens, working as a novel researcher in nuclear dynamics at The Source. An accident transferring fuel cells left him with horrifying burns and severe radiation sickness. In lack of a way to treat it medicinally, he sought out the help of Arcane and Plague mages. Plague magic kept him alive, but left him severely disfigured. (Ie. Skin is not optional, but you're welcome to make it look more plague-y and gross.)
Extremely skinny and frail-looking by Ridgeback standards, despite his enormous size. He tires easily and is particularly sensitive to heat. Feroza could literally carry him around if she wanted to.
His mandible helmet is NOT his actual face (though other apparel is his body appearance), it's just a mask he prefers to wear since he's missing most of the scales on his face.
He lost his job after the accident, being blamed for the loss of productivity. Horrified by the apathetic view of the accident that nearly cost him his and his assistant's lives, he left the Source and eventually found work with the Ludens, as a consultant for the construction of the Compound.
He really hates Lutjan, but sticks around for Feroza, whom he met shortly after joining the early construction team. And like so many others, he doesn't really have a better option.
Loves training new dragons and hopes to someday get a job teaching, if he's ever able to start a new life. (Gets along shockingly well with Kypro and Cyalum as a result)
More self-conscious about his appearance than he lets on, but mostly he's just happy to have made it out alright.
