Jester is the daughter of Killua and Scorchwing, two of the Circus's most famous trapeze performers and dancers. Jester always urged to push her body to the limits, so much so that she suffered an injury on her wing during one of her performances with her brother, Pyrope. Always the picture of resilience, Jester no longer does trapeze, but on occasion practices contortionist acts alongside the other performers.

She is best known for her performances as the Motherly Hobo, tricking audiences and hatchlings into taking part in her antics in the Circus sand. Her past has left her with incredible hand-eye coordination, and her slight of hand is something to be experienced in itself. Silk scarves, fake flowers and rubber hydrena tows apparate out of nowhere, and with a flash she has you in her claws. In her joint performances with the contortionists, she will pretend to antagonize them or stuff them into a chest, only for them to contort and fit into each space accordingly.

All in all, Jester is pretty optimistic outside of the ring. When she isn't developing her acts with the contortionists, she is practicing her acts with the willing circus hatchlings, who always fall for her pranks and laugh at her silly jokes. She has never been held back by the loss of functionality in her one wing. Her life has carried on, and while adjusting was hard, she enjoys her life to the fullest every day. Occasionally, when her injury allows for it, she will ask her brother to help her fly at night. It is in those moments when she has her prosthetic wing attached and the wind is just right, those few minutes of wind-assisted flight that she enjoys like fine wine. But that moment is between her and the midnight moons.
