Biography
Those who lodge in cliff sides must inevitably become accustomed to the hot sandstorms that whip them annually. Though many have just learned to accept the expected fine film of dust until they can be bothered to strip it, very rarely you'll come across a dragon with such an insatiable urge to keep their home spotless that summer sends them into near hysterics. But then, many would only need to catch a glimpse of what the dust can invite into your home to send them away from the plateaus for good.
One of many unnable things that are drawn in with the dust is this bizarre little critter, though reports seem to imply they're harmless. Smaller than a fae, they pick across long forgotten knick-knacks stashed into shelves or under sleeping quarters, stashing things of interest- hides, ink pots, bones. The ultimate prize is teeth, but apart from the odd hatchling's tooth or preserved animal skull every now and again they're few and far between to find. In the mean, they seem perfectly contented with worming their way through anything coated with that favourite dusty film of theirs.
Just because they appear to be harmless doesn't seem to make them any less unsettling, though. With a form as fluid as the wind that carries them and a piercing, unblinking gaze, ulterior motives can't help but be called into question. The weaselly little thing has been reported to be seen sitting for hours on end in the spaces between floorboards or even books in a bookshelf, watching... perhaps the watchdog of an unseen master.
