━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ A lover of secrets and mysteries, Hikaru had been drawn to the Hewn City, where he established the Clan with Thales. They, along with the other original members (Irving, Elian, Iskra, and Silvester), soon became swept up in the supernatural happenings of the subregion; from the beautiful and surreal to the horrifying and deadly. It wasn't long until they started taking in dragons who've fallen victim to these events, and thus Cerva Solis took root and began to grow. While both Hikaru and Thales are technically the leaders of the clan, Hikaru is looked upon as the "official" leader. He takes care of the more stern things his role entails: battle, combat training, safety, punishment, justice, etc. He'll easily step up to the plate to give an empowering battle speech, but when it comes to more delicate matters, he awkwardly stumbles over his words, usually resulting in something coming out in a way he didn't mean it. This is where Thales takes over, saving Hikaru from embarrassing himself too much. Many dragons are amazed by how well Hikaru and Thales get along, given the general contempt between Imperials and Pearlcatchers. It's not that they don't argue or disagree, just that they are more like siblings than barely civil rivals. When asked, they reply with "If you were stuck with someone you detest for no reason other than the biased thoughts you grew up around, and it was a life or death situation, would you not come out unchanged?" |
