"You are as beautiful as your mother." Dilara heard her father say many times.
In spite of the law of averages, Dilara had the exact same colors as Felgrande, but with her fathers patterns on her body and wings. Absolutely gorgeous.
As a younger dragon she was curious with a snout for enough trouble for the lot of siblings. Once she had tried to sneak off towards the Emperor's Wake because she decided that the elder dragons were lying and had been punished for what seemed like forever.
THAT WAS INCREDIBLY FOOLISH AND DANGEROUS! her father whom was normally soft-spoken boomed. She had been forced to be tied at the hip to older dragons in the comradery doing chores throughout the lair. The Comradery had backed her father fully. Now that she was older they'd shown her- albeit from a very great distance the Emperor that roamed that area.
You can be a royal pain in the tail sometimes, but we do care. one of the others had said.
She would be remembered.

I am the oldest sibling in the lair and my parents third child.
