- Has lived hundreds of years, having been one of the Icewarden's most trusted Gaolers stationed at the Fortress of Ends.
- After a breach in security, many horrors imprisoned there got released, and Dorian tried to fight back with the rest of the wardens, seeing the resulting slaughter.
- He founded the Griswold with Mattara, and with the Icewarden's blessing. The horrors unleashed upon Sornieth were too great, and so they took on the mantle of hunting them down.
- Has gained many scars since starting his journey, including a large spear which embeds itself within his right shoulder. The spear cannot be removed and causes him a lot of pain but Dorian never complains about it.
- Keeps an eye on all the paranormal followers he has gained, and promises if they lose control of their bodies, then he will slay them so that they may die with their reputation untarnished. He has had to only a few times, but dreads when he will have to next.
