Chilly

Chilly wandered into the village one day as a young teenager, and was greeted with suspicion. With A purple-blue nocturne's bow and arrow at his throat, he coughed up all the information about himself and where he came from. Chilly knew everything except what clan he came from. That, he didn't know. He came from the Southern Icefield, that's all he knew. The dragons let him go after trying to convince him to give them information he didn't have, but the grey-brown and orange guardians holding him down said they felt something weird while making contact with him, like a vibration that wasn't there. Chilly thought nothing of it, and considered booking it, but decided he was too far in now. He continued sheepishly to the village, though others were still highly suspicious of him. Eventually, the residents warmed up to him, and he discovered new hobbies and talents he had. Writing was a big one. He wrote books for a long time, and, eventually, he got really obsessed with magic. He wrote a spellbook full of small, simple spells that would help him in everyday life. Enchant this pencil to write what I think. Enchant this book to read my homework to me. Enchant this rock to help me find my glasses. Basic things like that. Chilly got curious one day, and he wondered, would the spellbook work? He read one of his spells over and over again, reciting it in his head, putting all of his energy towards making it come true...
And when he opened his eyes, his homework was half-done.


Chilly works by NightStalker's side. NightStalker comes up with a new spell, Chilly adds it to the book. NightStalker wants to test out the spell, Chilly is the test subject, because he's a pushover. Most of the time, after all. Chilly trusts NightStalker, as untrustworthy as she is. Chilly makes mini-spellbooks out of the "Big Book of Spells," as him and NightStalker call it. Chilly also writes normal books, which won't do your homework for you or read itself to you. Just plain old fables and a bit of nonfiction, too. Chilly enjoys studying things and writing about them, for bored students and curious adults alike. Chilly is enthusiastic, outgoing, and can be dumb sometimes. Well, he isn't dumb, more just.. disoriented. He's able to shut out anything and become hyper-focused on his studies for up to 2 days, which leaves him tired and kind of pale-looking. This is usually on weekends, so when he re-emerges from the library looking wilted, other dragons know what happened, and encourage him to sleep more. He refuses. What was mentioned earlier, though, is that Chilly is a pushover. He's TERRIFIED of the idea that other dragons dislike him, and does some crazy stuff to get on their good side, even if it causes him harm. This leads to him being used sometimes, and his friends being disappointed in him, which makes his dragon-pleasing tendencies worse. Others call this behavior "Chilly's Paradox".
