Skyfire loves anything and everything to do with crystals. They don't just channel her magic- they also adorn every wall of her den, and even dot her person. Skyfire glistens where ever she goes, coated with both magic and gems.

Using her minerals, Skyfire is able to channel amazing wards for the Lowlands and inner port city. That's her specialty among the mages, and it's given them a great leg up against the wilier of Deephaze's creatures. Skyfire doesn't just love rocks for their aesthetic properties, after all. Their connection to the Earth is much-needed out here in the muck, where it's otherwise hard to feel the bedrock core of Sornieth.

Her Ridgeback borrowing tendencies make it a bit dangerous to have a prized gemstone in the Lowlands- they tend to go conspicuously missing, and it's usually a good bet they'll end up in Skyfire's collection. But she's very relaxed about giving away and loaning out her own gems: Skyfire borrows from others, and she won't be fussed if they return the favor.
