Biography

observant/thoughtful/courageous

Second member of the AERT (Aurora Emergency Recovery Team): along with three other members- Wanderer the longneck, Aurora the Tundra, and Scandia the nocturne.

Always willing to do what is right no matter the circumstance, Glacier banded with Aurora as she ventured to the chilling depths of the southern icefield. They encountered many different foes, and even discovered that some dragons could be possessed by the shade-- a strange organism from centuries past that threatened to swallow up Sornieth. Glacier was thankfully adept in combat, and managed to drive off many creatures of shade from their hosts as Aurora cared for them. They bonded over this parasitic infection that faced dragons everywhere, until the shade struck Glacier himself.
It took a long time for him to recover from the surprise attack, and the cold climate of the ice domain didn't help too much. Aurora attempted to cure him with oils, balms, and potions, but the shade spread continuously. Glacier couldn't do anything about it as the darkness drained him of energy, and he thought that he would surely die at any moment.
But then, a brilliant flash of light shone from a staff. A longneck had come to his aid, and instantly he began to feel better. The shade melted off of the dragon as the camelid creature waved their wand, and Glacier stumbled to his feet.
His recovery went smoothly going forward, although the affliction had taken much from him. His wings were stained with darkness, and his body had lost a significant amount of strength. Afraid he had become a burden on Aurora's shoulders, Glacier stayed with the longneck as they started up a clinic in the icefield. Aurora would bring patients to them, and their business worked out quite well for a while.
However, Glacier noticed Aurora becoming more and more exhausted as she scavenged the icy cliffs for its victims. He wanted to go back to the more localized parts of the realm, too, although it was never discussed between them both. Eventually, though, Glacier found the courage in him to suggest that the two conclude their travels here, and seek out a more relaxed life.
Aurora agreed, and they took their clinic to a more mobile standing with their longneck companion by their side. They eventually decided to take up a job caring for dragons ailed by the plague-nature war that had strangely started itself again after an ages-long armistice, and their business prospered as Aurora became more practiced in medicine and Glacier took up protective spells and charms. Now, they reside in a local clan that is happy to provide them with shelter in the forested abode of the Viridian labyrinth, and it is here that they still carry out their acts of kindness even though they are no longer present in the icefield.
