Caelum

((Clan Role: Pest Controller))

Third son of Alabaster, Caelum is a very calm and thoughtful young dragon.
He was very shy as a hatchling, and though he can understand others now, he is self-mute. He was too afraid to speak, oddly enough, because hearing other's voices was too much for him to handle. His hearing is very sensitive. Caelum can wander about now without much fear anymore, and isn't intimidated by any loud noises. Still, he won't speak, perhaps now out of embarrassment that he won't be very good at it. He's happy without speaking a word anyway. He finds it easier to get along with others this way sometimes.

Caelum is a bit too young still for joining the royal guard, and so he stays around his home as a pest controller for his big brother's garden. He's made friends with his niece Carnatia, and with Isamar, who are both very comfortable with his presence. To those who treat Caelum gently, he finds much solace. Though, he doesn't mind being around other more lively and hardy dragons either.

His father Alabaster finds him to be another oddity, like Bubblegum, but he seems to be accepting of him since he is genuinely kindhearted and a hard-worker. Alexandrite is a bit curious about her son. She's noticed that sometimes Caelum can be very serious and focused in his work, whatever he is doing, though when he isn't sure what to do, he quietly sits around and just watches over things. She's concerned his muteness has led to him becoming quite lonely and lonesome, as well as melancholy. So she often has Bubblegum give him things to do and keeps him interacting with his family.

Though Caelum is happy to help and feels quite at home in the gardens, he shares a close understanding with Isamar. Though Alabaster is all onboard for Caelum to find a dragoness like her, Caelum is not interested. Like Bubblegum, he's quite fond of males, though he's not the best at meeting others. He understands Isamar's reluctance to form new friendships and feels sorry that she sometimes breaks down out of sheer embarrassment and shame.

However, Caelum is far more than he seems. Being an oddly eerie boy with a gentle soul, he has a lighthearted side, and a dark side. While he gets along even with hatchlings and likes to mimic and mime, he also displays ominous anger or coldness when immersed in obsession, especially towards insects...
