Koi helps Paradise with the upkeep of their seaside hotel and is a special caretaker for all water-based familiars. She's unbelievably kind and open to others, and is close friends with Athena. With her help, Koi has been able to attune her senses to the feelings of those around her, and helps provide therapy to dragons who need it. She teaches swimming lessons to young hatchlings and loves swimming with Colgate and Paradise in her free time.

Koi was born in the wind flight with fins rather than feathers. Though this wasn't unseen before in dragons, it was enough to make her want to move somewhere closer to the coast. Here, she met Paradise who gave her a job at their beachside hotel. Koi spent lots of time cleaning the beaches and taking a dip in the ocean. It was then that she found a love for the sea, as her added fins allowed her to swim with much more ease.

Nowadays, Koi works alongside Athena to provide therapy to dragons. As a skydancer, she can understand emotions with more clarity and thus decided to put it to good use. If you ever need to find her, she's often at the beach teaching little hatchlings to swim or studying in Terra's library with Athena on new techniques they can use.
