Engineer. Mechanic. Inventor. Part-time metalsmith, trinket-maker, and alchemist when the mood strikes him. The most skilled organizer you will ever meet. (And someone who has no need for all these fancy titles, thank you very much.)

Shrewd and prickly, Reaktor is far more intelligent than he'll ever let on. And given that he solves impossible conundrums in his spare time, that's saying something. In his youth, he learned the intricacies of electrical constructs, and he's amassed a wide array of knowledge throughout his travels. Recently, he's found a place to stay with a small group of dragons in the Starfall Isles. They don't make a habit of bothering him, and he has a cave and a half all to himself. It gets dark down there, though—he'll need some aqua-colored lamps for lighting... (They must be aqua, nothing else will do.)

Against tradition, his greatest (and only, to be honest) friend is a centaur. They are an archer from the Wintermane clan who, separated from their herd, sought shelter with dragonkind. Now, they're the only one Reaktor can stand on a regular basis, and they agreeably help him carry things. Because. You know, hands.

Hnn, I suppose I can make time. This work isn't difficult. There is no technology, essentially. Not until I got here, and no one around here is particularly interested in outfitting the cave with what's necessary for a full electrical grid.

...They wouldn't be able to power it, either. No generators—only the small ones in my workshop. And those run on artificial fuel—unsustainable...

Anyway! I invent small machines that do whatever needs doing. They automate a few of the more tedious tasks, but they're usually just conscripted into preparing runes for carving... Most of the clan's smaller luxuries—the water channels, for instance—are my doing, though. Juni's forge, too. It may not be a data network, but it's useful and it's physics. I'm good at physics.

I also (somehow) got caught up the local gaggle of magic-types—probably because that's what passes for technology around here. Sometimes I help Zeb with her alchemy, as I've dabbled in it before, and I've been recruited for "rune-carving night" far more often than any one dragon reasonably should. I quite literally couldn't cast a spell to save my life, but they're better company than some, I guess. One intellectual will always find company with another, I suppose... at least, if I was pretentious enough to call myself an intellectual.

That's enough, I think. I really need to test this. Engineers and centaurs only now! Out, out! If you're truly not satisfied, you can come back later, I suppose—but not for a while! I'm busy with this project!""
