a scientist who researches the scarred wasteland. much to the dismay of their lairmates and colleagues, they are an avid collector of the grotesque ''plants'', fungi, bones, and other oddities found there.

to avoid disease and survive the harsh conditions, they use equipment scavenged from the shifting expanse and repaired by the clan's engineers.

they are often accompanied by mercury - being artificial, he has no need for such equipment to survive in the wasteland, and he acts as an effective bodyguard.
