Hewn City, of the Sunbeam Ruins. It was Briar's home, where she was born, and where she had lived for two months of her life. She had stuck around for so long after her siblings left, and she knew her clan mates grew tired of her. She never fit in, never truly. Her heart ached for something more, something better than the Sunbeam Ruins could give her in her life. She didn't know what it was she was looking for when she first departed, not truly. But she knew she'd know when she found it, if she could find it. Leaving Hewn City was just a baby step into the journey Briar was embarking on, leaving her parents, that was the worst of her journey by far.

After leaving the Sunbeam Ruins, Briar found herself wandering in search of what her heart ached for. She found home in Sea of a Thousand Currents, the Scarred Wasteland and Starfall Isles. Not once did she find what she was looking for, and each time she stopped in a new land, her stay was shortened. She was frightened of the new lands, from meeting savages from the plaguebringers lands, to meeting creepy undersea dwellers from the tidelords land, she was about to call it quits and go back home to Hewn City. Back to her true home. She got tangled in a storm that had brewed from the Southern Ice Field before she did make her way back home though, and found herself wandering farther into the storm instead of making her way out of it.

Eventually the young coatl found sanctuary from the storm in an old cave, where she spent the night sheltered from the raging snow and icy winds. She was glad when she woke to the storm having passed, and she was ready to leave to head back home, when a young Nocturne caught her off guard, talking to her from where she hung at top the cave. Tanner had been caught in the storm too, while she was out hunting to replenish her clans food stores, on the order of her father, the clan leader.

Tanner lead Briar back to her clan, promising that her father would help her find her way back to Hewn City once he had the free time from his duties. Briar accepted her help and thus found herself being more and more an accomplice to Tanners shenanigans on the clan of Armifera Fatum.

Briar never ended up leaving the clan, she found what she had been searching so hard to find. Staying in Armifera Fatum lead to her finding her forever mate, Lucid, and now Briar is in the occupation of being the den mother. She watches over the young until they find clans willing to take them in, or until they are old enough to decide if they want to join the Ice Warden and serve under their deity. In Briar's free time she has taken up tinkering, and it brings smiles to her face when she can create items to further help her clan strive.
