Biography

Long, long ago, far before the world of Sornieth existed, there existed a serpent-like creature that swam through the void--the Space Leviathan. In such a cold, lonely space, its heart ached for warmth and comfort and company, and so it began devouring the stars as it drifted from galaxy to galaxy. Every star it devoured in its giant maw burst into warm flames that spilled down its neck and warmed its body from the inside out, but the flames quickly diminished and left the leviathan even colder and lonelier than before. Eventually it sought out to devour planets, ones with life that were filled with the will to survive, the desire to continue on amongst turmoil--but upon eating such precious planets, the leviathan's heart felt heartbroken at the life it had destroyed to satiate its own needs. Eventually, the leviathan looked upon the half-eaten galaxies and scorned itself, fleeing to the darkest, coldest, and loneliest parts of space never to be seen again.

That is, until, Truth prophecized its return. One night, a dragon claimed to see what they believed was a starry serpent sailing through the night sky, its glowing eyes peering down upon them. Though these were not hungry eyes--these were envious eyes. The leviathan was back from hiding, but the stars in the sky were not disappearing. It appeared to be watching instead.
