I hatched a cute baby Multigaze for International Asexuality Day and I’m crying ;v; He’s Shadow MG too which just adds to it tbh. A good lad! Might end up keeping him over my Anniversary egg hatch later this week. Only G1 with colours too, after a lengthy scatter fest :'D

UPDATE: Naming this guy was hard! I considered Spectrum and Prism for a while because of the range of asexuality (sexuality in general has a huge umbrella of terminology), but settled on Hue instead since he mostly purble :3

International Asexuality Day (IAD) is an annual celebration of the asexuality community that takes place on 6th April. The intention for the day is "to place a special emphasis on the international community, going beyond the anglophone and Western sphere that has so far had the most coverage". An international committee spent a little under a year preparing the event, as well as publishing a website and press materials. This committee settled on the date of 6th April to avoid clashing with as many significant dates around the world as possible, although this date is subject to review and many change in future years. The first International Asexuality Day was celebrated in 2021 and involved asexuality organisations from at least 26 different countries. Activities included virtual meetups, advocacy programs both online and offline, and the sharing of stories in various art-forms. ~*~ In color theory, hue is one of the main properties (called color appearance parameters) of a color, defined technically in the CIECAM02 model as "the degree to which a stimulus can be described as similar to or different from stimuli that are described as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple," which in certain theories of color vision are called unique hues. Hue can typically be represented quantitatively by a single number, often corresponding to an angular position around a central or neutral point or axis on a color space coordinate diagram (such as a chromaticity diagram) or color wheel, or by its dominant wavelength or that of its complementary color. The other color appearance parameters are colorfulness, saturation (also known as intensity or chroma), lightness, and brightness. Usually, colors with the same hue are distinguished with adjectives referring to their lightness or colorfulness, such as with "light blue", "pastel blue", "vivid blue", "cobalt blue". Exceptions include brown, which is a dark orange. In painting, a hue is a pure pigment—one without tint or shade (added white or black pigment, respectively).
