Biography
She still remembers him. It was hard not to notice him, for the way he dressed, the way he carried himself, the aura he emanated.
She thinks she'd like that. After all, she's not the only one he helped while he was alive.
But as soon as he spoke, you realized none of that mattered, for he approached each dragon with compassion beyond belief. There were few that exhibited agressive behavior, perhaps as a way of expressing their (inability) frustration, aware of their own conditions but unable to fix themselves. Then Zaeles'd come into the picture and like a crooked frame on a wall, he'd find a way to set it straight right away. She never quite understood what was his motivation behind it all, with only occasional rumor or fact reaching her ears. Was it even necessary to know? Perhaps to her it was. But now the absolute truth died with him and she will never know. Only thing left is to guess what's true and what's fiction. Perhaps, if others keep on mentioning him, he becomes something akin to a legend. |

Quote:
his father has lore about him being cursed with ice somehow, that basically caused brain damage and so he's just a pawn, a puppet used by a...mob boss? can't remember that detail.
But Zaeles always thought he might be able to get through to his dad, and so he worked with him diligently until his father began reacting to certain stimuli, and certain foods/flavors, and seemed to enjoy spending time with Zaeles.
But then his dad's 'master' basically didn't want any interruptions to the routine (Zaeles was becoming a distraction from what she needed his father to do/be) so he was basically chased out of the clan.
But Zaeles was happy that he at least made his father happy, if just for a little while. He continued the legacy by working with other dragons who were similarly handicapped
