Coming from the Nature Flight and temporarily homed in the Sunbeam Ruins, Aurus is a lighthouse keeper for the Neon Army. Though it doesn’t sound like much, her luminescent brightness deters both ships from the sea and enemies from the land. She is one of the more kinder members of the growing force, but won’t hesitate to defend her neon roots and spread the word that the Radio family isn’t one to be messed with. As A Lighthouse Keeper Aurus’ dedication started when she was still in her teenage years, a little after moving into the Ashfall Waste. She wasn’t thrilled with the territory interior and settled on the southeastern beaches. There, she discovered an old ruin near-mimicking the Pillar of the World, caught in between the Fire and Lightning border. There was decommissioned technology on the hollow top. Studying old manuals and scrolls preserved in the building dust, she fixed the old lighthouse and was soon operating it constantly. Saying it was an obsession would be an understatement. Dragons in the Lightning flight didn’t take kindly to one of their machines being fixed by another, and failed to move her out. She reasoned it wasn’t theirs, and they certainly didn’t care for it before she arrived. Aurus has been approached many times by different dragons about her lighthouse, affectionately coined Lēohelm; some aggressive, some thankful, and some with interesting business proposals... The Neon Army Sliz, one of the co-founders of The Neon Army, approached Aurus a few years after Lēohelm was officially repaired. She saw potential in light-producing architecture for their neon plots and plunders. While Aurus was grateful to be recognized by a fellow Radioactive, she only accepted membership after swearing to only use the lighthouse for anything but physical harm. Theme TBA |
