Biography
A dark dragon washed, unconscious, upon the Tangled Wood's shores. He was freckled with seraph on his wings, highlighting how drenched the feathers of his currently-useless wings were. He was no hatchling, yet it was clear he still hadn't quite reached the stage of 'adulthood'.
It was some time before he groaned and rolled. Reflexes kicked in, forcing his to spit up the water that previously resided within his lungs. Opening his eyes, he revealed the startling blue unique to the lightning flight. A branch from one of his horns had broken off, leaving a jagged base in its place. One of his ears was infected, possibly by the rotting seaweed that was yet to be removed.
Shakily, he looked about. Darkness. Mould. Fear gripped at his heart - the Shadow Binder's realm. Any dragon with any sense should be scared of the Shadow Binder, for he is the representation of evil. The pure meaning of darkness as he can extend shadows and strange his prey in pure darkness.
That is, prey and dragons alike.
Coughing up a little more water, Gliscar rolled onto his belly and began to struggle up to a stand. The sand beneath his feet felt more like an ominous dark sludge. The trees were of the like he had never seen before. The creatures... He feared the thought of being here long enough to encounter any creature.
~
By the time Gliscar had exited the Tangled Wood, he was big. He had grown up to be a solid, muscle-bound male. His head twitched occasionally and his mind was damaged as it had been tampered with several times. He had only managed to escape the terrible land thanks to a tattered, bloodied map he had come across. Of course, by then his mind was so damaged he didn't even notice or care for the dying pearlcatcher lying on the ground.
first two drawings by Kiharu ^.^ Aren't they amazing? :D
