Frustrated with the disciplined life of a warrior's daughter, Brina rebelled against her mother at a young age and found freedom and a new family among the clan's local pirate crew, much to Maeve's dismay. Brina's charge includes the ship, her crew, and any treasure the crew has plundered. Most of all, though, Brina is fiercely protective of her captain, Keved, whom she is deeply in love with.
