Rot is a righteous and hard-working dragon with a bit of a low self esteem due to his appearance. Neither the strongest nor smartest, but definitely hard-working.

Rot hated anyone that got by in life cutting corners but he started to question himself when Clot and Carp saved him from certain death. While he refused to participate in their raids, he continued to stay beside them, trying to think of a way to repay their kindness without participating in immoral actions.

Carp doesn't like his attitude and bullies him when they are in the same room. Clot, however, keeps her from bothering Rot too much.
