He's the Water Flight representative in his clan! He wears his Diver Emblem with pride.
Tidal is both the clan's current Water Flight Representative and an excellent water mage. One piece of proof of his skill in water magic is his eyes; if you watch his eyes carefully you can see undulating waves of light reflecting back at you, like water stretching light into many forms and gently curving it back out. It may be subtle, but his fascinating faceted eyes are solid proof that Tidal can take water and easily use it for a multitude of things.
Fathom, a young Water Imperial, has agreed to train under Tidal's guidance to strengthen his own skills at water magic. Tidal sees a lot of potential in Fathom, and takes pride in training his apprentice in the ways of water.

Chosen Familiar: Blue Dragon Reef Snail "Bublfang" Tidal's beloved Blue Dragon Reef Snail was given to him as a gift from Softpatch, who had rescued it from being eaten as a snack by hungry (and notably delusional) Plague dragons. No offense to the Plague dragons. He lovingly took care of the snail, which he named Bublfang, until the duty of becoming the clan's Water Flight Representative fell to him and he had to pass the care of his snail to someone else. Luckily, that someone else happened to be Snowbalt, who happily took over caring for Bublfang. |
