Nova was a dragon born of a supernova from space while the Trickmurk circus was around. Having a body originally made of stardust, her eyes weren't custom to light, so when she was given a physical body, she quickly found she was blind, having only her stardust spirit to guid her way through the skies. She would only wander at night due to the intensity of the sun on her scales. Because of this, she and Stellsluna get along well. One night as she was flying around she count move out of the way of another dragon passing over in time, thus the two of them colliding and falling to the ground. It just so happened that dragon was Twig, the clan leader of these parts. upon learning Nova's history and how she too was blind, she quickly took her in and gave her home here.
