Biography
lore wip. In charge of the education of the Abbey's novices and hatchlings.
Quote:
A little gaggle of hatchlings is chasing after a Coatl holding a stack of papers and books. As you watch one hatchling rip out a feather from his wings, you decide it would be best to go elsewhere for now...
JEYR
TUTOR HE/HIM, PANSEXUAL While Gemini entertains and watches (somewhat) over the hatchlings, the scatterbrained Coatl known as Jeyr is responsible for educating them. Jeyr often studies in the lofts of the upper cave, though like the true Wind dragon he is, his mind and energy often flutters to other places. For being the clan's teacher, Jeyr is quite young, only having fully matured into adulthood somewhat recently. His young mind is easily distracted and overwhelmed, but he does genuinely love teaching the clan's hatchlings--the basics of flight, naturally, being his favorite subject. On the occasion he needs to get away from the mob of hatchlings clamoring for his attention, he enjoys adventuring in the various Coliseum venues. Jeyr found his way into the clan by complete accident. While traveling, he somehow got lost (Jeyr claims even he does not know how he got so turned around), and though he possessed immense flight stamina, he eventually did tire over the Scarred Wasteland, where he landed to rest. It was there he met the hunting party returning to the clan's den, where Onyx invited him to return to their lair for proper, sheltered rest. While resting, he met Gemini and was introduced to the clan's recent batch of hatchlings, a group he was enamored with. Jeyr had an overwhelming desire to stay and assist with the clan's children, and ended up offering to become the clan tutor despite no prior experience so he could have a hand in raising these younglings. Marshal has questioned why, if Jeyr likes working with children so much, he doesn't just return to his birth clan to do so, but Jeyr claims to not know the way back. |
Being a small dragon, Jeyr is often overwhelmed by the hatchlings when they decide to roughhouse with him. He has lost a great amount of feathers to Guardian hatchlings and has been climbed all over by Skydancers. Some wonder if he has any real control over the hatchlings considering all he does is alternate between preparing lessons and teaching them, both at a frantic pace with one or more baby dragons hanging onto his legs and tail.
