origin

"Like any good librarian, Ms. Wickerbottom believes in the preservation and distribution of knowledge. Well… most knowledge, that is. There are some things that must be kept hidden away from the eyes of the public. Who knows what could happen if certain secrets fell into the wrong hands?"
When people meet Ms. Wickerbottom, most assume that what you see is what you get. She certainly looks every bit the typical librarian that she claims to be, as at home amongst the bookstacks as any creature in their native habitat. Nobody would raise an eyebrow at such a person being well-versed in a wide range of subjects. Who would spare a second thought if, upon further inquiry, her knowledge rivaled that of experts? And obviously, no one would think of questioning what a librarian might be involved in after hours, when the library doors are closed to the public...

The Librarian

Pronouns: she/her
Birthday December 6
Odds of Survival: Grim
Thoughts:
Maxwell (He's tricky. Not sure if I expected anything else. I think everyone would appreciate him more if he peeled away the ego.)
Wagstaff (A newer arrival, I see. His logic and reasoning skills are impeccable. I can see why Wilson likes him.)
Walter (He has knowledge in his own right, I can respect that.)
Warly (So much excellent work comes from him. The kids absolutely adore him.)
Wanda (I am aware she is quite the busy woman. Nonetheless, I appreciate her time and insights.)
Webber (Dear Webber is a shining beacon of light in this grim world. I enjoy how his eyes light up when I find him toys.)
Wendy (She's adept with specters. I've seen her help some of the small ones locate their lost belongings. She will grow into a fine young woman.)
Wes (The mime lad. Storytelling has more then one medium, you know.)
Wigfrid (I keep telling that lady not to run with spears. Ah, well, I suppose that's the only thing she won't listen to me about.)
Willow (I'm not one to judge about hobbies, but as long as she keeps her away from my library, she can have it.)
Wilson (Before that Wagstaff came along, Wilson would ramble to me about his theorems. I can catch a little break, but I hope he doesn't forget about me.)
Winona (She's been through some hard times. I appreciate her work, nontheless.)
Wolfgang (He's a fast learner, if you give him patience.)
Woodie (He has an interesting array of transformations. What caused it?)
Wormwood (What genus is he from? Perhaps he shares one with the Tree Guards and Totally-Normal-Trees, because of their living logs? Alas, they don't have much else in common.)
Wortox (Is his species always prone to mischief? As long as he keeps it away from me and contributes to group survival, he can follow it.)
Wurt (I will never completely satisfy her curiosity, will I? Good. I like that kind of thinking, especially from the younger generation.)
WX-78 (The automation. I wonder what Wagstaff was thinking when he created them. Or did they develop their ideals on their own? Either way, fascinating.)
