Aralicien's hatchlinghood is a complete mystery to all the clan, including Aralicien herself. Her earliest memories are of long days wandering the Everbloom Gardens completely alone, searching for her clan. Every dragon has a clan, she was sure of that, but where was hers? And why couldn't she remember anything of her clanmates? Any face, any name? Her search had no direction, and it never led her anywhere.
She would think back of those days, many years in the future, at the outskirts of her clan's territory. Saying it had been dissapointing would be a huge understandment, but... if she hadn't gone through all of that, then she maybe would have never met Moonsong, her confidant and preferred mate.
Of all the things Aralicien expected out of her aimless days, finding a dragon like herself was not one of them. Two wanderers with no memories of a different life. It was no wonder they would end up wandering together. From then on, Aralicien's days stopped blurring together so much, spending the hours talking about the flowers or the stars, about dreams and memories, about the Gladekeeper, even. With Moonsong, she could talk about everything and nothing.
Somewhere in the Everbloom Gardens they would make their first nest. They didn't really think of creating a clan of their own, but before they knew it, they were surrounded by dragons they could call clanmates.
With her aloof and introspective personality, spending a good chunk of her day looking at the distance, Aralicien isn't meant to be a leader. despite this, most of the dragons see her as their second mother and would obey her just like their actual leaders.
Even if she can seem asocial, she loves her clan dearly. Whenever the hatchlings are playing around her, she thinks back at her fruitless search, and finds that even if things didn't turn out as she wanted, she's perfectly happy with the clan she made her own.
