B I O G R A P H Y

Ebony was born into a royal family of five, his parents and elder and younger sisters. From a young age he was more reserved and unconfrontational. He spent time with all of them of course, but he was still different from them all. He learned of the ways of the shadow flight and their history like any other dragon, but like some others, he didn't quite agree with it while his parents had firm belief in it. Shadestria had no allies and looked for none, keeping very secretive and somewhat deceptive from the other kingdoms. He didn't think that was in favor of them.

As time passed and Ebony grew into a young adult, he only grew more firm of his beliefs. He had made some friends despite his more shy nature. Kardi, Eteri, Sammy and Mecury, eventually Kody and Kai somewhat joining into the circle. Out of his family he got along best with his younger sister, Lunala. She still lived by the way of their parents, but she was more soft-spoken and kind. She especially liked playing the piano and he liked listening to her.

With his parents getting older and looking to retire it was obvious that his elder sister would be chosen to take up the crown as she was most like her parents and wanted to uphold the traditions. However things would soon go horribly wrong. One day Lunala had started acting weirder and weirder and unlike herself. His parents thought it was just her rebellious side finally showing, but he was worried. Then, the day after the coronation, it all boiled over. As if cursed, Lunala transformed into something malicious. All he could do was hide as one by one his family was hunted down by her. Only he was left. She had taken the crown by force and chaos fell over the kingdom. Then the long expected war finally broke out.

Luckily, it all ended well and the curse was lifted. The kingdom was in ruins and Lunala had to go into hiding, both of them would never be the same. Now it was up to him to take on the crown and rule the kingdom as the last remaining heir. King Gneiss of the Earth kingdom, who started the war and rained down more devastation upon them, was punished with helping however he had to in order to bring everything back to it's former glory and beyond. Ebony had first despised him, but as more and more time went on he would let go of the grudge.

While the kingdom was under attack, the Wind kingdom came to their aid and he took notice of one brave solider that tried to save him from being taken hostage temporarily. By the powers of King Gneiss she was turned into a crystal statue. After the war he visited her every day, wishing he could talk to her and thank her. A wise dragon from the kingdom offered him a little hope, telling him he should try asking the Windsinger for a blessing for her brave sacrifice. He decided to take chance and would do so. Proving his heart pure, his wish was granted. Her name is Cyclonia, and since the first day he brought her back to the kingdom, her having offered her service as a personal guard for such a kind act, she had caught his eye. He loved her lively personality and she was beautiful. She eventually confessed to feel the same about the young King and the two became lovers. It was the happiest Ebony has ever been.
