Biography

Blown Away
It was a dark, windswept night. Typhoon has decided to go out hunting for food, and chosen this time of night to make the best use of his skills. Then the wind had gotten worse. Within minutes, he was flying in an outgrown storm, instead of just the rash gusts he had intended for his hunting trip. It took all of his skill just to stay aloft in the raging winds, there was no time to think about orientation or hunting in this storm! "Windsinger bless, I have to get through this storm..."
It was hours and hours of blazing madness. Whatever fault Typhoon might have committed, he was desperately sorry and fearful that he might crash into a solid object at any given moment. With the storm and the onset of rain, everything seemed to be dark clouds that surrounded and swirled around him. He concentrated on staying awake and aloft as his muscles started to ache and get sore with exhaustion. But the wind just did not subside and the rain started to turn to sleet and hail... He started praying for the night to end, for Windsinger to have mercy, fur pure survival.
Finally, the endless onslaught of elements ceased. The Clouds started to clear, and Typhoon realized the sun was already starting to rise. But instead of the endless steppes he grew up over, there was only Ice as far as his eyes could see. He was tired, every muscle in his body was hurting. Landing was the only option, and hopefully some food to fill his now growling stomach. He had been flying for his life during that night, there was no way he´d give up now! So he dived lower to the ice, and could make out some hills among the fields of white, and a couple of trees nestled into a small valley.
Movement. He spotted movement in the valley down there, and not the shapes of prey or beastclans. There were dragons down there in the endless white! Maybe they would be able to help provide directions!
As the three dragon-shapes started moving away from their habitat, Typhoon tried to catch their attention by shaping himself into symbols of welcome and friendship, at least were those symbols his clan used. He had no idea if those bodyshapes were a universal language, or an invention of his homeclan... But all would be lost if he could not attract thjose dragons attention and secure their help.
They had noticed his arrival! One of them, a stoney-colored Tundra, stepped forward, separeating himself from the other two - a second, blueish-furred Tundra and a hatchling, most likely pearlcatcher, with the same bodycolor. Typhoon interpreted this as his signal to land and talk to the first Tundra. Windsinger bless, a few friendly faces would do him good. Carefully not to get too close to the seemingly makeshift habitat, Typhoon landed in the snow, curling himself up to look less imposing - and have a good jump if anything should go even further south than it already was.
"Hello there. Might you - *huff* - might you be able to tell me where I am?"
"This is Rainas place. The Frozen Sanctum is just a short flight to the east, if that is of any help. What is it that brought you here?"
Rainas Place? What a strange name for a lair - but then again, one could hardly call one igloo a lair... The Frozen Sanctum on the other hand rang a bell - that storm had carried him all the way to the Southern Icefield, and one of the southernmost points there to boot... No wonder he was so exhausted!
I... The storm brought me here. Must have whirled me all the way from home... My head is still spinning..."
Typhoon started shaking his head to get rid of that dizzy feeling, but the feeling got worse. He realized that the brownish-furred Tundra was stepping towards him, talking, but he did not understand. And then the ground jumped upwards, and it got dark...
