"Strange, funny, and heartrending. So... remember, no crying until the end, okay?" Merryweather, along with Otsdarva and Anatolia (with an additional Daedra as their primary operator), are the crack team of mercenary-pilots that the clan sends out for scavenging and other such missions. Naturally, they can't be expected to do so with their feeble, well, not exactly weak bodies, but, y'know. It's harsh out there, and someone's always moving on the surface, even if it is a barren desert. Especially so now, as their operations currently take place upon a carpet of living flesh. It hungers so much like the deity it serves. So, they simply pilot giant mech--- I mean, golems, courtesy of the Stormcatcher's innovations and Chicago's own personal touch. Garrett occasionally checks in as well to make sure everything works perfectly with his own little brand of oddly effective ramshackle repairs, although he can't stay too long or his work'll end up undone by his little unfortunate entourage. Merryweather's golem is named Malachite. She serves as a valuable support mech, and specializes in missile coverage. Merryweather herself is a jolly and loud female coatl of her own-- she is almost overly friendly, laving her affections on the rest of Carlyte. Naturally, most of them have come to see her as either a protective big sister, or a surrogate mother of sorts. She is warm, loving, and due to her coatl coat, is very much fluffy, and knows this very well. Hence, she often can be found around the base attempting to share her sublime hugs with anyone she meets. Hence, should you seek to find her, simply look around for an sudden loud, discordant yells of joy, (as per expected by coatls). These are often immediately accompanied by muffled yelps of varied tone, should you need confirmation. Unfortunately for her, most of the other dragons are introverts, which means her hug parties are not very openly welcomed, although they are often secretly appreciated. Still, her enthusiasm is contagious, her stride distinct, and often she does find various little gifts present around for her perusal which make her day all the much easier-- a cup of prepared tea, a fixed faucet, a calibrated machine whilst she takes a tea break... Oft, the perpetrators never reveal themselves, although she has started to figure out their signature touches to their boons. Recently, certain dragons have thrown her for a loop by commissioning the resident Handyman for their tasks, effectively erasing most of their tracks. It has started to become a little bit of a competition, seeing who can lavish the most expensive gifts whilst still keeping the pool hidden from her eyes. |
