Podarge

After being driven out of her home, Ocypete took her young ward to find a dragon clan in hopes of being allowed among their ranks. The pair eventually found Clan Hemospect, and was graciously allowed a home in their lair. Due to cultural differences, however, Ocypete is seen as Podarge's familiar, when in fact Ocypete is more like Podarge's mother. As her mother, Ocypete teachers her all she knows. Podarge even has taken to dressing to look more harpy-like, with feathered wings and an intricate mask.

Her time among dragons has had quite the effect on the secluded orphan. She has a tenative grasp on the common tongue, but refuses to learn much beyond what is necessary. Having taken quite a liking to magic, Podarge has undergone a drastic transfiguration that leaves her in a more harpy-like body. While there is no mistaking her for anything but a dragon, she has become more confident in her looks and demeanor.

Even though she and her mother are exiled from harpy territory, Podarge constantly fights for beastkind rights and is the unofficial leader of Hemospect's beastclan sympathizer sect.
