★★★ QUICK LOOKTenko Shiro | Guji It is said that long, long ago, perhaps only years after the Tower shattered, an egg was hatched by Imperial parents - but the child they brought into the world was not of the same creed as their family. The full story is lost to time - if Michio remembers it at all, they aren't telling, but they will tell of their migration; leaving Sornieth for the voice calling to them beyond the fog, and returning a wiser soul. They say the Kitsune of the Wind Flight called to them upon their return, and with the aid of their lesser kin, they built a temple of their own - hardly a rival to that which they'd seen while away, they could never hope to compare (or so they claim). Yet this shrine, now dubbed the Shrine of Boreal Wind ( 北方風の神社 ), would serve as their home, and the home of many Sornieth-bound kitsune, for many more years to come. Today, the Shrine of Boreal Wind stands tall as the leading shrine within the Hanakaze Empire, allied closely with Emperor Hoori and Empress Hoderi. The shrine sits high along the Reedcleft Ascent, the melodic whistling through the shafts of bamboo and heavy scent of incense permeating the area. The area was carefully constructed over years, and still continues with slow expansion to this day as Sornieth-bound kitsune find their way to this embassy of embassies. |

★★★ PERSONALITY Michio has been around for much longer than many can even remember. Their patience reflects their age, seemingly unending with all of the follies of dragonkind. However, like most of their kind, Michio is not above light plays of mischief when time allows; the Shogun of Hanakaze is known for being rather tired of their jokes and tricks, yet their wisdom and kindness has kept them and their temple-tenders in check. Currently holding the sole title of Guji at the shrine, Michio strives to represent their haven well to all passing through, and grants permanent ranks to all kitsune like them - cursed or blessed. Tenko are the only kitsune Michio will consistently turn away - perhaps for fear of a challenge to their authority. Who can say? |
