Shenlong

You know you're dreaming. The world around you is a vast darkness in which the only thing that helps you tell up from down is the unusual indigo fog that is currently curling around your feet. A dragon steps out from the thickest cloud, their eyes covered, and multiple purple feathers and skulls swaying from their form.



"Oh... I was... hoping that you all... would not awaken... before I... was done." The dragon drawled out slowly, head tilting slightly as it seemed to look upon them. It was kind of hard to tell with the bandanna that was currently covering his face. "I guess... that this... could possibly... work... in my... favor."

Indigo flames, so much like the mist that currently clung to their feet ignited along the dragons wing tips before spreading out and landing in three vague orbs.

"All of you... have been... gathered for the... crime of... trespassing. I am... Ennio... Master of... the Labyrinth. ... Choose a path... prove your... guilt... or your... innocence." The pearlcatcher continued as the orbs pulsed before exploding outward in a shower of embers. When the embers landed the area around them shifted into something completely different that would either confirm or deny their guilt.


The first was a small path in the forest with massive blue Chinese wisteria trees on either side, their vibrant blue flowers dancing ever so slightly in a nonexistent breeze. Music played softly, giving the already peaceful imagery a better atmosphere. Wind brushed against mane and scale alike with the scent of wisteria and even a few stray petals.

The second was that of a wasteland, the earth itself burnt to a crisp by unknown means and turning to glass in some places. Broken blades laid scattered upon it, some of the more wholesome ones even sheathed deep into some of the glass patches. Another song filtered from somewhere, the source unknown as a white sun burned in a blood red sky. A dry breeze carrying the scent of blood and metal.

The final path wasn't really a path. You could only differentiate between it and the rest of this blank dreamscape by the fact that the indigo mist had solidified into a thick mass that was only differentiated from solids due the fact that it was visibly shifting. Music still played for this one as well, but this time a voice rises out from the fog and sings softly. Hints of the other two paths can be seen occasionally. Be it a stray blue petal or the flash of metal along the ground.

"Choose... wisely. ... You will... not be... given a... second... chance." More indigo orbs light up around the dragon and the threat is very clear as to what will happen to anyone that the dream walker and so called Labyrinth Master deems guilty.

The wisteria sways, some of the longer clusters tickling against the top of her head and distracting Shenlong from looking towards the base of the trees. Three dark forms stare out at the female coatl. Each of them share a glance before charging at the female, claws and vines whipping at the coatl, even going so far as to follow her out of the dreamscape and into the waking world. They seemed to calm after a short period of time, their eyes blinking rapidly as if being released from some sort of spell. Immediately noticing the damage done to Shenlong the familiars approached and tried their best to give their apologies.
