Cream

“What your ladyship intends, it shall be done. You have but give the word.” It’s Fable, curled beside the Skydancer, who says it. None of the clan will question the Imperial, who has always been their leader’s second, and none of them will question Cream, for whom they will lay down their life if she so commanded. Cream nods, just once, an almost imperceptible inclining of her elegant head. A cheer goes up around them, and the Skydancer smiles. Everything is as it should be. Born to an artist and a treasurer, Cream is quiet and self-assured, yet her presence fills the room the minute she steps in. As a young hatchling, Cream had wanted to be like her gentle mother, an artist who had left home to follow her dream of being an artist. She dreamt of travelling, to teach and observe and learn, as her mother had done before her. But as she grew older, and grew to know more about herself and her family, Cream’s direction in life slowly altered; the young dragon realized that she preferred being the one in charge. She takes immensely after her father; Cream is a natural leader and her charisma and charm makes leading a clan look effortless. Her words are few and far between; Cream leaves the talking to her second-in-command Fable. Instead, she uses her actions most effectively, and for that, her clan respects her and lives in awe of her ability to lead. bio by Triblobyte |
