History:
One of the clan’s most senior females, Sonnuka has dedicated her life to the future generations of the clan and the nursing of others. After retiring from warrior duties earlier in life than expected, she now oversees the running of the nursery. All hatchlings that are brought into the clan from outside without parents are entrusted into Sonnuka’s care. She also aids all expecting parents, and cares for the hatchlings while their parents are busy with clan duties.
Additionally, it is Sonnuka’s job to oversee the transfer of any hatchlings out of the clan who decide to leave their birthplace for other clans. She is the leader of all departure ceremonies for young dragons, reading the prayers and rites of safety to aid them in their journey. Though she sees every hatchling in the clan as her own child and is deeply attached to them all, she does her best to be supportive of all those who chose to leave, and wishes them only the best in their lives. She is known to keep tabs on hatchlings who have left, checking up on them wherever possible, and she remembers the names of almost every hatchling that has passed through her nursery in her long life.
