Lewis

Given the first opportunity to do so, Lewis left his birth clan in the Shifting Expanse. He was aware of the irony as jumped head-first into the ocean. Beyond searching for his charge, the Guardian had felt restless since the day he was born, as if he wasn't made to stay in one place. This used to worry him, considering Lewis knew that someday he would have to stay put protect his charge. Imagine his joy when he found that his charge was a traveling ship.

Like Apophis, Lewis joined a crew of kind pirates, learning their ways. Being as large and strong as he is, he became the muscle of the crew. The Guardian found himself at home in the pirate lifestyle. He became extremely close to his crew members, especially a seemingly-cold Skydancer named Orion.

When the then-captain was revealed to be a hypocrite and a liar, Lewis followed Apophis in the mutiny. His loyalty to the Spiral is only bested by his duty to the ship. And perhaps Orion, who the Guardian became mates with a few months after the mutiny.

Despite his occupation as the muscle, Lewis can be found tenderly attending to the ship at night or lending an ear to a fellow crew member.
