When one thinks of second-generation Imperials, one often conjures images of world-famous nobility, legendary warriors, and powerful mages, second only to the parents to which they owe their status to. It's certainly a high expectation to live up to, and no-one is more familiar with this than Ares. This hulking dragon stands as the Troupe's strongest and most famous brawler, having trained themself into this position through their own force of will.

Adopted into the predominantly-Skydancer Cavanagh family in their late teens (and by extension, the Sandscape Clan), they are notable for their incredible strength and prowess with an axe. What makes them stand out, however, is their commitment to saying almost nothing. When they do choose to speak - which usually consists of single words - they command the attention of everyone present. This combination of traits makes them incredibly intimidating to most everyone they meet.

Much like Aliz, Ares wishes to use its martial prowess to protect the people it loves. It is closest to its brother, Coda, and is incredibly committed to protecting him. It is also close with its other siblings, Callum and Grimm, but it knows Coda the best, as they are the closest in age. It was also appointed as Asriel's protector when the Fae was very young, and though Asriel is able to protect himself now, Ares still views itself as his guardian.
