It is the Hall of Honour one comes into first, with it's high ceiling and polished permafrost columns, gently lit by the blackened steel firepans. _____
26365932p.png THRUD THE VALIANT | Gave her life in the First War
One of the hardest losses of the First War, Thrud was taken in a cruel ambush during the First War. She'd served as a loyal, hard-working dragon since joining the clan some years before, always doing her best for all those around her. Before her death, she implemented essential defences that would become the very foundation of Valhall's future protections.
Joining the clan as a young dragoness with grand ideas, Thrud originally served as Týr's personal guard. She was there for the early stages of Valhall, when they were still nomads, and helped put together many of their vital systems and factions. Throughout her time, she was good friends with many of the warriors among them, and was nigh on adopted into the inner circle of Týr's own. When the First War was upon them, she worked harder than most to prepare for it, and put into motion essential parts of their defences.

Her most known contributions are the core of their defensive spell work and wards, and their Peacekeeper faction (then known as the Night's Watch).

21251422p.png SKINFAXI THE GILDED | Gave his life for his charge during the Wandering
One of the first losses Valhall every felt, Skinfaxi went down during one of their skirmishes as nomads. He didn't hesitate to give his life for his charge, Dagr, and they were forced to bury him in the frozen ground once the battle was won. But it was a painful reminder of how vulnerable they were-- once they had a permanent lair, they returned for his body.
Skinfaxi had been the silent shadow following Dagr around when he joined. Back then, Dagr had been a nervous wreck, true, but nowhere near as bad as after Skinfaxi fell.

Dagr called him a golem, brought to life by magic and sworn to protect Dagr until the end of days, but Skinfaxi had been so much more. He'd been a friend, a guardian, a sturdy presence for all of them; he'd been a true Valhallan. Though he said so little, and they only knew him a scarce year, his presence was sorely missed when he was no longer there.

The first Gaoler to walk Valhallan halls, Valkyrja left deep marks when she passed. She'd been the first face many dragons saw when arriving, and been a good friend throughout, but her guilt and failures haunted her always. The shame of running from her own sacred duties never left her and, in the end, she met her end rectifying the mistakes that'd plagued her so long.

She never managed to find her place among them, but she was a true Valhallan all the same. Valkyrja was one of those dragons that did everything, aiding anyone in need, and the way her rare smiles lit a room would never be forgotten.
