Biography

A ribcage full of rage, a heart born for conflict. Once born as Aristotle, beloved prince of an illustrious kingdom, he became the match that left his homeland in smoldering ashes. It started when his sister Ariadne took the throne and the Kingship, when her lust for power turned a prospering kingdom into a martial court that always hungered for war. She began to conscript even her younger siblings into soldiers, and among them was Aristotle -- already angry at the world for taking his parents from him so early. His unbridled rage made him a poor choice for the army, unwilling to obey even the most basic commands. His sister was stubborn, insistent that he would bend beneath her will, and it became a stalemate. A stalemate broken by Acheron's kidnapping. Their argument raged for hours, and his sister was adamant in her decision not to waste resources on rescuing their pacifist brother. Even when a ransom amount was delivered, she did not waver in her decision. When the announcement came that his brother had been killed in captivity, his previously banked anger became a raging wildfire. He turned traitor on his sister and her martial kingdom, ushering up a small group of rebels with the support of a nearby Fortress his sister had sought to conquer. They attacked the main stronghold of the kingdom in the dead of night, setting fire to the wooden structures within, killing all those who opposed them until they could find their way to Ariadne. Aristotle struck the killing blow. In the wake of Ariadne's death, Aristotle renamed himself to Aeris, fleeing ____ to claim sanctuary in Cain's nearby kingdom. There he remains, haunted by the memory of the destruction his rage has wrought, slowly piecing himself back together until his nightmares are no longer tinged by blood and ash. |
