____Rocks is a security guard at Miskatonic University, keeping the peace on campus and wrangling more "excitable" live specimens. Before they picked up this job, they'd only been around other Gaolers; integrating with modern breeds came with a nasty culture shock, but over time they've greatly warmed up to such novel concepts as "creature comforts" and "collecting things" and "not living in a bare-walled cave."

____They've largely dropped the frosty, stoic Gaoler exterior they put on at the beginning, mellowing out and becoming much more approachable. Their new friendly, agreeable attitude has gained them quite a few friends, especially as they're known to be tolerant of last-minute, poorly planned drop-offs at the storage facilities—though on one notable occasion, they did shout down a research crew that unceremoniously dropped off a mutated Onyx Cobra they damn well knew was irradiated, and which directly resulted in several unwieldy crystal spires growing straight out of Rocks' back. The spikes have eluded all attempts to remove them by constant regrowth, and so Rocks has learned to live with them.
They're still wildly unimpressed by jokes about the coincidental link between their name and their condition, though.
